I was visiting Texas and craving a real Louisiana taste, and this spot did not disappoint! I ordered the shrimp po’boy and it was amazing. The bread was super soft, the shrimp were fresh, and they definitely gave me my money’s worth. My fiancé had the catfish po’boy, and you could immediately tell the seafood was fresh. It was lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly. He also tried the gumbo—added a little dash of seasoning—and he really enjoyed it. Our waiter Kash, was very attentive and super friendly. He checked on us throughout the meal and really made sure we were taken care of. The place also has that true Louisiana charm—the decor honestly reminded me of being back home. If you’re looking for authentic Louisiana flavor while in Texas, this is definitely the place to stop!
Tad’s Seafood Restaurant exceeded all our expectations! We came for the all you can eat catfish and bang bang shrimp, and every bite was absolutely delicious-fresh, perfectly seasoned, and piping hot. The catfish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, while the bang bang shrimp had just the right kick. What truly made our experience unforgettable was our server, Jordan. Jordan is hands down the best server ever-friendly, attentive, and always anticipating our needs with a smile. Our drinks were never empty, and he made sure we always had fresh plates of food coming our way. If you’re looking for amazing seafood and top-notch service, Tad’s is the place to go! All you can eat crab was great! Our server, Jordan, took great care of us! Very nice and punctual young man, I’ll be asking for this guy next time we are in.
We love going to Tad's. They have great daily specials but or favorite is Sunday for all-you-can-eat catfish. Relish! My husband also loves their shrimp po-boy sandwich which is filled to over-flowing with tender fried shrimp. Definitely more than one meal's worth! Oo-oo-oo! And I love their appetizer, I forget what is called, but it's a kabob with bacon wrapped shrimp and Cajun sausage. MmmMmm good! The beignet fries are also delicious! Best served hot and fresh so you might need to share those. We also had Tad's cater one of our parties and it was a real hit, especially the dirty rice. What's more, they have a delectable weekend brunch menu. We would definitely recommend you give Tad's a try!
Jordan was incredible, fast, attentive and sweet. He had refills when our drinks were not even half way gone, food was hot and fresh. We got all you can eat crab legs and he brought new crab legs out every 10 mins. He brought to go drinks without us asking, and brought boxes immediately. Best Shirley Temple I’ve ever had.
